Flood light
Nowhere to run or hide

Slips away
Radiant blues turned grey
Creeps in like a glacial-paced stain
No tide
So remember to cherish the highs
And pray for a slow dance with time
Spring dreams
In lavender fields with the bees
Avalanches over me
