Stormy Way

STORMY WAY

Well, I know I have to travel down this road
Maybe a few years, maybe more…
Baby is it you or is it me the one that I’m travelin’ for?

I’ve been so long on my way blinded by stardust in my eyes
I laughed ‘n’ cried but I’ve never stopped…
Guess I forgot to look up at the skies.

I’ve heard the voice that was screamin’: “The future is the past!”
And the other’s provin’ opposite thing…
Somewhere in a distance a lot of church bells were ringin’ ‘n’
A bunch of drunken preachers started to sing.

I’ve tried to jump out off of the road I was ridin’,
‘N leave the burdens of the future behind
But it’s hard to manage life I wanna live,
Though it’s easy livin’ life of this kind.

It’s easy, it’s easy, it’s easy living life of this kind,
You don’t have to worry, you don’t have to try,
I feel much better when I’m traveling blind.
Maybe I am wrong, maybe you’re not right,
I wish you never came in my sight!
Maybe you are wrong, maybe I’m not right,
I’m gonna find out thru this sleepless nite.

Well I know I had to be the rider on the storm
But I never thought that it could last so long…
Every person finds the target, sets the goal ‘n’ then goes on
When a part of stormy way is done.

But the only sound that I can ever hear is whisperin’ voice:
“The future is the past!”
So I’ll have to travel backwards the very same old road
‘n’ I’ll try to find the right place to rest.

‘twas easy, ‘twas easy lovin’ you, livin’ life of that kind.
I’m sorry, yeah, I’m sorry babe, I’ve left you both so far behind (x 2).
