Floating over trees and cities
On the fringe of Arcata
You faked amnesia
In the caves you left your demons
Singing stellars rising black bears
In the waves they massed
Like yellow jackets
In the wine cellar
You remember
Every taste
A wolf stood watching
Through the tall and teeming grass
A body break against the rocks
A raven came and called the flocks
A crackle from a music box
The river shines, unwinds beside us
The trinity is lined with poppies
Everything is indigo
