Time to Love Myself

I think that I've been looking for one to call truth but what's real is that I need to be it
if I'm walking on nails in the skin that I live in time to love myself time to be myself
time not feel like i need someone else time to embrace the doubt that inside my mind and erase the pain that's been left behind
I feel like I've been waiting for the door to be new just to prove that I can walk through it if I'm not happy when I've reached the other side
time to trust myself no need to rush myself
just need to breathe and enjoy myself
time to relate to pain that i've seen outside
and channel the change from dark to light
