Paper Plane

The halls are clear and we've got the day.
It's time to wrap up and fly away.
Don't need a movie nor a TV show too when
I can pray then fold paper with you.

In a day of dark places, I'm fine just being here with you.
We don't need their entertainment to have a break.
You know it's true.

Here with our new paper plane,
We'll fly some around and see which goes the farthest.

We tell them we want a simple day.

So many voices, more daunting choices,
So many influences around.
Where do we go and what do we do,
For quiet places to dwell on His truth?

In an age of dark troubles, it's nice to have a friend like you.
Fellowship is a loved treasure. Spend time when you can.
It's with Him we stand.

So here we our on our simple day
Where we'll be in fellowship and sing talk and pray.
