Drowned in the Tub

Rub-a-dub-dub mummy drowned us in the tub
Now she can enter a very special club
We were reminders of her past and sinful life
Children spawned before she was a respectful wife
So it's really okay that we had to go
Held under water and down our throats it flowed
Five little toddlers laying on the bathroom floor
Blue in the face with a cross up on the door

This is something I have to do
To prove to God my heart is true
Hands around my children's throats
Held under water till their little bodies float
This is something that has to be done
Better this way than by a gun
Jesus told me I need to cleanse their sins
And afterwards I can finally go to Heaven

A pine drawer opens wide
And a gunshot splits the night
Blood and brain splatter the pillow
Now she's a widowed wife

Husband stopped being true
He's better off a part of the dead
A single bullet in his head
