Dear kids, it's dad, with a message I know I'm not a device
Just listen, I noticed too many fires are progressing
So much that multiple times I'm stressing I know COVID is wild and it's vicious
I know that some of y'all think it's prison That's why mom and pop make decisions

Learn from example now, be efficient a long day at work, I walk through the door
The first thing I see is paper on the floor dishes in the sink, a full bag of trash
Marcus on the headset, I heard him when he laughed
That is not cool, we are not fools you ask why I'm mad, can't get a clean spoon

Clean up the house before we get a mouse It's hard to teach value when all you see is
Clout the world that we're in has a curve and it
Spins the things on the net will encourage you to
Sin think before you act, remember this advice

Since I put it in a rap, I only spit the facts
Dear kids, when you wake up look around your room, it's a straight, huh
Is there anything to do before the day is done We see through the lies so don't play dumb

I've always been there so I'm hopeful have something to say then be vocal

In life we learn lessons, it could feel like a test

Don't question your parents if they're doing their best
We're a family of seven and the struggle was real
But you never had to face all the scum on the streets
It's good to have manners, you don't want all the beef

So have some respect when you're talking to me
