I glance through the dim lit cracks of yesterday
I see the storm has already left
Disregarded fears begin to return
I feel empathy periodically
Eyes wandering
As the mystical child appears
Events of tomorrow's children
No longer legible
The kings have long fallen
The mystical eyes of wandering remain seeking
Mysterious colors and silence
Roaming mouths of blood
Mistaken leaders
Mistaken sons
Mistaken lovers
Unwanted ones
Wandering eyes remain
The child still standing
Futuristic ligatures try to spell guidance and are quickly ignored
I look directly at the sun
The child floats toward it
And I close my wandering eyes and hope this brightness collides with brighter days
