T's Prayer

When tides are pulling
And familiar things are strange
And what was clear seems to break
Or start to melt away

And you hold on for dear life
To roads that once were free
But now are cluttered and exhausted

There is a home I belong to and it meets us
Close as our heart beat
And no matter how hard I fight
To keep my armor on no matter how much I try
To avoid the truth that I am of this home
And so are you we are not apart
Step by step we are getting closer
When tides are pulling to a beautiful place
And you stand in awe as it calls your name

When your heart starts to race
And you pull away don't wanna make mistakes
And swim out through the break
