Cognitive Dissonance

My brother came to me in the wind, whispering words of wisdom, and how we’ve ruined the land. Her whispers tell me to look as far as I can see, then just close my eyes and imagine how it used to be, so then I close my eyes and imagine how it used to be. We come, we see then we conquer, never giving back just taking what isn’t ours. The more I learn, the more I have to cry for, distractions keep us knowing what there is to fight for.
