When I was in eighth grade, I played my first show
And I was scared and nervous and anxious about how it would go
But those fears built up inside of me
It made a better side of me to hone
What if we grow up and don't play any more shows?
Forget how to play all the instruments that we chose?
We built up a repertoire, the songs were thrown into a fire
