Seasons
Wandering down in the depth of the rust
The footprints are formed by the settling dust
Scarlet rot left nothing to trust
Nothing we love can remain untouched
Always trying to rush through life
Forgetting that good things all take time
Taken back to take in a moment
Sometimes it's best left unspoken
These seasons change we fade to grey
The colours get lost behind a haze
Like graphite traces half erased
We meditate on better days
Drifting away from the trees
With autumn breeze
We fall like the leaves
The seasons are changing
They'll never cease
Don't let the night fade away from the sunlight
We can't let the stars fade away from the night sky
The heavens are shaking
The seasons are changing
Who will we be when the world reawakens
There's no more escaping by dissociating
The heavens are quaking
The seasons are changing
The winter will hit with a promise to kill
The struggle to breathe with a shuddering chill
It's easy assurance when things will go well
Discomfort will make it all hard to fulfill
The clouds will come but sun will shine
Find the stillness of the mind
The dark will pass and leave behind
The spring will come we will survive
Water will fall on surroundings
Cleansing all around me
Starting new the Earth abounding
Sound of heartbeats pounding loudly
Golden hour bright
Blinding eyes as spirits thrive
The seasons are changing
And they'll never die
Don't let the night fade away from the sunlight
We can't let the stars fade away from the night sky
The heavens are shaking
The seasons are changing
Who will we be when the world reawakens
There's no more escaping by dissociating
The heavens are quaking
The seasons are changing
Don't let the night fade away from the sunlight
We can't let the stars fade away from the night sky
The heavens are shaking
The seasons are changing
Who will we be when the world reawakens
There's no more escaping by dissociating
The heavens are quaking
The seasons are changing
The seasons are changing
