Maybe the street is too wide
Maybe I shouldn't have crossed on the red light
Maybe the traffic is heavy left-right
Or maybe my fists I squeezed too tight

And even if one of these is the case
– Must be too late to slow down the pace
Must be too early to count broken bones, for now

Walk to the other side
Just keep on – you'll get by

Some place crawl, some place climb

Maybe I'd done something wrong
