Come look along the road
Out your frost-covered car window
Where the lights with the fog and the blowing snow or raindrops
Into the bright light are blinking and jumping out
They have an amber glow and hop and spark like fireflies
It, it takes much solace and patience
For you to know my song's too longingly long alone
But it gives so much warmth to the world
And welcoming all the cold in the world
To blow out that little light of ours
So it has nowhere to hide no more
