AJ Van Drenth

On September 29, 1941, the Nazis began hearding Kyiv's Jews into the ravines of Babi Yar where they were stripped and shot. In the first 72 hours, 33,000 Jews were shot. By the end of the frenzy, over 150,000 Jews and and thousands of Roma were murdered. Kyiv's Jewish population was destroyed.
