My little boy was put to bed
Tired from his busy day i tucked him in
Kissed his face and said it's time to pray
As I slowly turned to leave the room
I stopped to hear him say
Dad I need to talk to someone now
So you must go away

Dear God I pray please keep our world safe
You must have loved us quite a lot
To make us such a pretty place
If You'll let me grow to be a man
I'll give you all the help I can, so
God please keep our world safe

They say You made this great big
World in less than seven days
I know Your Son lived here a while
Did You know I know His name
It's sad to think some people don't
Really love You at all
I'll do my best to change their minds
