Immunity

Jonathan Diener / Nick Diener

I've seen human suffering and
I've seen human pain.
I've seen catastrophe and
I've seen people aiding in vain, but
I can't stop it all so
I'll just sit down and watch society burn to the ground.

Watching as the world decays, immunity's on full today.
It's seems as if our problems are a channel change away.
I turn off the tv 'cause I don't care anymore.
I see it every day.

I'd rather look away instead of watch things go awry.
I'd rather die alone than die how all the heroes die.
Some people say that ignorance is bliss,
but I kind of like it like this.

Watching as the world decays, immunity's on full today.
It's seems as if our problems are a channel change away.
I turn off the tv 'cause I don't care anymore.
I feel it every day.
