Defaced Reality

Foolish mind, optics sown shut
With the myth of reality
Unable to transcend the principles
Of conscious life

The vision begins

Clenched in the arms of the god of dreams
Submerged in the netherworld
The sight is inexplicable

I drown in a sea of lost souls
This treacherous future to come
The ruin, the sorrow, the dream

Of lost wraiths desperately
Clawing at me with glee
