Cherry Juice

Marcus Thompson

Sure I'd love another sip

Remember the first time I drank Cherrie
You thought it was so funny but that stuff was really warm and bitter
I thought about straining first
But you'd probably be mad with me

As you coached me in the art of drinking
You told me to be careful not to spill any because it took you so long to make

As time went ton I began to like the taste it seemed to get sweeter all of the time
Almost every time I was over your house I asked for some
I could tell by your reactions you liked the way I sipped it

One night I came over because I was thirsty
After letting me in you jumped into bed
I was dying for a sip so I asked if you would give me some
That's when you told me to get it myself

I wasted no time in quenching my thrust drinking more than I had drank before
You just laid there mumbling to yourself

Ever since then you bring me Cherrie Juice with every meal
Now aren't you glad I'm not a vegetarian
