Don’t Take Me for a Fool
It was night when the rabbit died
Some point in the morning where the dark hadn't left the sky
Couldn't been a second before you cried
Tried to hide the fact by saying a tear came when the light arrived
You were angry but not surprised
Guessed you could suggest it was the best
And tried your hardest to salvage the remains and survive
At least the right guy was there
I know it's kinda crazy that we cried like babies over

With a shovel in a puddle and a corpse by the foot?
If you hear it you should hear it from you
I'd afford to say I'm sorry if I thought it would be promising something new
Oh well! Look at the time -
