The Dance of the Insane
Fire in the forest,
It burns with no rest;
Smoke darkens the sky,
Despair is in the air...
Birds resist to leave their breed alone,
Deer, monkeys, jaguars, bees and butterflies
Will find no home, will just be gone.
On the other side, people live their lives
As if it was a funny game,
Dancing the dance of the insane;
Setting the world on fire,
To feed selfish desires
Till the day they will awake
And probably gonna be too late
To realize that the fire they set
Is now smoldering under their seats,
They will be then so upset
About what they will see
That we all are just as one,
Sharing the same planet home
On fire....
Birds, bees and butterflies, monkeys, deer and jaguars,
Will find no home, will just be gone.
While some people play their vain and funny game,
Dancing the dance of the insane.
Save the Amazon forest and all the rain forests
Before it’s too late, this is my humble protest.
