Midas Motorcade
(Clurk:)
Much too much money I can't touch
Is that the way I wanna live if all I got is rough
Coarse sandpaper, only a couple bucks
More bad habits, nothing to show up
I'm above my limits past high school civics
And at 34 only know a few foul cynics
I hear it on the tv but really does it give us
Anything we need
But bad judgment and forgiveness
I'm a star on my own block
Rewind the old clock
Forgot about the verse
That I was supposed to send to Doc
Better choose wisely the headroom
Try to forget about all of the bad news
(Doc Os:)
Long ago in the olden days
In a horse-drawn carriage no motorcades
Lost my poor meatball it rolled away
But who had the goose that laid golden eggs
Up and down the track we rode the train
So underworked so overpaid
Kinda hard don't know the day
But the brightest stars still known to fade
Drawbridge lowers and raises
And the road to greatness is slowly paved
Killbox with the code erased
And I still rock with a flow that's crazy
Grill hot and you know it's tasty
Still flock but the flown away see
Cool it off please put on the ac
Focus hard like you're concentrating
Whats the mural on the wall your painting
Just a virtual reality to me
