I've had many tears and sorrows
And I've had questions for tomorrow
There were times
I didn't know right from wrong
But in every situation
God gave me blessed consolation

Just to make me strong

I've been to lot of places
And I've seen a lot of faces
Yet there were times I felt so all alone
But in those lonely hours
Those precious lonely hours
The Lord let me know I was His own
And now I can say...
