So this guy comes up behind me, right?
And I just thought “I’m having a drink”
This guy comes up behind me and taps me on the shoulder, right?

I turn around, I’m like, “May I help you?”
He says “You may not be able to help me, but you can definitely help yourself
I am an angel, I’m an angel sent from heaven
To tell you that in just a few minutes’ time, the devil himself will show up with temptations
Things that you cannot resist without divine intervention, and I’m here for that intervention
And I’m herе to tell you that (sic) you cannot accept thesе gifts that he offers”

Now, I had a few questions for this guy
But before I get a chance to ask these questions he up and disappears
“Great, what kind of help is that?
This angel is just poppin’ in and leaving, without a chance to clarify
But he promises me that in just a few minutes’ time, I will be visited by the devil himself
By Satan, a morning of star, for yourself”

Well, I turn back around, I finish my drink
Sure enough, another tap on the shoulder, it’s another gentleman
And I say, “Can I help you?”
And he says “Well, you may not be able to help me, but you can definitely help yourself
Just a few minutes ago, you were visited by the devil himself
Who told you not to accept these holy gifts that I’m here to bring upon you.”

Well, I found myself in a bit of a pickle, didn’t I?
Who tells the truth? Who tells lies?
Well, you know what I did? I walked right out of that bar
