Working

I'm starting to feel it and it ain't so bad.
My personal revolution is starting up
I'm repainting the canvas
Of what I was with what I am
My vision of the world sometimes ain't nice
So I was saving some money to buy a new eye
But then I had to pay a fee
Illegal doesn't mean bad!
Could I get them all off my back
And get the devil out of my sight
I should be working now
I thought I had won the lottery. What a nice surprise!
I believed it was karma but it was a rip-off
I wonder how I will survive... I guess I will find out
Because as lazy as I am, I am a working man
I should be working on whatever I wrote down to work on
Be it changing the world or just improving my poor tortured soul
Be it making some songs or just finishing my god damn tedious job
It's too late to go back. Tell me at least it's working for one of us
As lonely as you feel, as depressed as you are without knowing why
As useless as it is to hide, as hard as that you should be working now
It's only working out if you work it hard and all day long
Despite how tired you are you should be working on and on and on and on and on
You should be working on whatever you love
