I remember that old hen
The first time I remember carrying it out

And it's always had a good meaning to me

There are holiness churches all over America
And in Appalachia, thousands are scattered up on the hills
These churches are related by similarities
Of doctrine and manner of worship
Sharing a literal interpretation of the bible
And an informality of approach
But each is independent
Emphasizing it's own particular passages of scripture
