Two Roads

Gokul Rajagopal

I'm feeling myself
Concealing my health
I'm dealing with hell
Surreal is the thought

Of me giving up
I'm kneeling, I'm hopin'
The trees are imposing
The jungle, foreboding
I'm humbled, (I'm humbled)

I feel so tired and lost

I'm losing time
Won't be around till the break of dawn
No new conclusions
It just sounds like I'm waiting on

Epiphanies to get me through
This riddle, I view
Two roads
Left or right
Split in sight, kept
for me tonight.

I'm used to the wilderness now
It's futile to obsess over
Views of frondescence
In this road, I reminisce of
How close another way is here

Yeah,
Let's go,
Buckle up, now I'm in the zone
I'm stalling, I set my eyes on the road not taken
I'm all in, I see
Sprawling sights are in the vicinity of my vision
Features I'm missing here in this mixture, green and empty with life, I'm enthralled and...

I'm safe and it seems
The road I'm in is clear

Unfazed by the fiends
Surrounding me with fear
I'm used to the wilderness now
It's futile to obsess over
Views of frondescence
Now the night is closing in

I'm amused, bewildered, yes
I am bruised,  a silhouette
Comes on cue, a vivid mess
But my mind's just playing tricks

I'm losing time
Won't be around till the break of dawn
No new conclusions
It just sounds like I'm waiting on

Epiphanies to get me through
This riddle, I view
Two roads
Left or right
Split in sight, kept
for me tonight
