This life is such a cruel thing
When you lose the ones that you love
Never to speak again
Or even have that one more laugh
Only in my dreams will I see you again
My long lost friend oh how I miss you dearly
To this day
Well was it fate that brought you down?
Or was it just another day in our Gods will?
My feeble mind will never know
Maybe in the afterlife
We will see one another once again
Well this life on earth is only a moment
