Sit straight but slouch inside
I'm not an imposter but truth gets me denied
And so it's motionless
It should be effortless
I watch you hatch your plans and all your current schemes
But I'll burn slow in my time
I've tried but I just can't keep myself away
I always turn straight back each and every day
It's something in the air
Electric wild blue
I hear it everywhere and so I have to do
Painting life with thought
You and all your thoughts
They're just second hand
You sing a borrowed tune from your new found friends
But I'm in a different key
A stubborn dissonance
And so you sell me out because you can't understand
I can make myself
