The Sunshine Maker

I have found my other
She’s been here for some time
Drawing life with her
From the strife to sublime
And until recent we were in the aforementioned
But things are looking brighter
I think it’s almost our turn

Afflictions of a so-called adult life tied our hands
Screaming then embracing like only lovers can
My one’s left the nest now
Flown into the sun
I can only join her once my work is done

I won’t let this hole in my heart turn mе insane
Sculpting with the noises that grow insidе my brain
Sending them out to her
Hope my intention cuts through
Filling up her heart until I can make it back to
