The clouds out on the horizon, well, they look quite ominous
They're moving towards me slowly and I wonder if they'll miss
The haze out on the skyline, it sets upon the city streets
The darkness moves in slowly and the sun it sets beneath
The fog in my reflection seemed thicker yesterday
Today it is lifting and I seem to be okay

The mist cuts 'cross the shoreline and forms upon my face
I look up at the sky and the rain picks up as I lay happily in my place
