Feeling the strain again
Tired and frayed I've come undone
Can't break free from the chains
Longing for the warmth of the sun
Battered and bruised
Beaten down until it all goes numb
Barely living through
Reluctant and defeated I succumb

It's always right behind me

But it's much too strong for me again again
